Although both create space for personal growth, they serve different purposes.Therapy is a clinical mental health service provided by a licensed counselor. It focuses on understanding and treating concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and other emotional or behavioral challenges. Therapy includes assessment, diagnosis when appropriate, treatment planning, and evidence-based clinical interventions.Life & Emotional Strategy is a non-clinical service designed for individuals seeking guidance, clarity, accountability, or support in navigating life decisions, leadership challenges, relationships, personal growth, or emotional wellness. It does not involve diagnosis, treatment of mental health disorders, or psychotherapy.If you're unsure which service is the best fit, we'll discuss your goals together and determine the most appropriate starting point.

If you're experiencing emotional distress, symptoms affecting your daily functioning, or concerns related to your mental health, therapy is typically the most appropriate service.If you're generally functioning well but want support with decision-making, personal development, leadership, relationships, or navigating life transitions, Life & Emotional Strategy may be a better fit. Yes. I am in-network with select insurance plans. Insurance participation may change over time, so please verify your benefits prior to scheduling. Private-pay services are also available.

Before your first appointment, I encourage you to verify your behavioral health benefits, including any deductible, copayment, or coinsurance that may apply. Ultimately, clients are responsible for understanding their insurance coverage and any balances not paid by their insurance plan.

Private-pay services are available for clients who prefer not to use insurance or whose services are not covered by their plan.

Appointment lengths vary depending on the service selected. Most therapy sessions are approximately 50–60 minutes. Other services, including consultations and strategy sessions, may have different durations.

Faith can be thoughtfully integrated into counseling when requested by the client. My role is to provide care that honors your values, beliefs, and goals while respecting each person's individual preferences and worldview.
